This Privacy Policy applies to Satu Ramadhan (package name: com.saturamadhan.mobile), an Islamic companion app for Android developed by Alea Farrel. By using the application, you agree to the practices described in this policy.

Satu Ramadhan is a comprehensive worship companion featuring accurate prayer times, Adhan reminders, a full digital Al-Qur'an with Tajweed highlighting, Qibla direction with a live map, and a smart digital Tasbih. We are committed to protecting your privacy and handling your data with full transparency.

We collect only the minimum data required for the app to function properly. Here is a complete list of what the app accesses:

• Location (GPS): Used locally for Qibla direction, and sent temporarily to public APIs (Aladhan, Nominatim) strictly to fetch accurate prayer times and your city name. Coordinates are never stored or sold.
• Notification Preferences: Your Adhan reminder settings (which prayers are enabled, notification times) are stored locally on your device using device storage.
• Audio Playback: Adhan audio files are played locally. No audio data is recorded or captured from your device.
• Local Storage: App preferences (language, theme, Tasbih counts, bookmarks) are saved locally on your device. This data never leaves your device.
• Network Access: Used to contact third-party public APIs: Aladhan API (prayer times), Nominatim OpenStreetMap (reverse geocoding for city name), and EveryAyah API (Quranic audio recitation). Only the minimum required parameters (e.g. coordinates) are sent — no personal identifiers are ever transmitted.
• Diagnostics & Analytics: We use Firebase (Analytics, Crashlytics, Performance Monitoring) to collect anonymous usage statistics, crash logs, and performance metrics to help us improve the app's stability. This data does not personally identify you.

We do not collect: your name, email address, phone number, payment information, browsing history, device identifiers for advertising, or any other personally identifiable information.

Satu Ramadhan requests the following Android permissions. Each permission is used solely for the stated feature:

All data accessed by Satu Ramadhan is used exclusively for the following purposes:

• Calculate accurate prayer times by sending your coordinates to the Aladhan API (aladhan.com) — a free, public Islamic prayer times service. No account or personal identifier is included in the request.
• Reverse-geocode your location to display a city name using Nominatim OpenStreetMap (nominatim.openstreetmap.org). Only coordinates are sent; no personal data is attached.
• Stream Quranic verse audio recitations on demand from EveryAyah API (everyayah.com). Requests contain only the surah and verse number — no user data.
• Determine Qibla direction and deliver scheduled Adhan notifications — all processed locally on your device.
• Store your personal preferences (theme, language, bookmarks, Tasbih counts) locally on your device between sessions.
• Monitor app performance, identify bugs, and analyze crash reports using Firebase to ensure a stable experience.

We do not use your data for advertising, profiling, analytics sold to third parties, or any purpose beyond what is described above.

We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to any third party.

Satu Ramadhan does not integrate any third-party advertising SDKs or social media tracking pixels. We do use Google Firebase (Analytics, Crashlytics, and Performance Monitoring) strictly to understand app usage, detect crashes, and improve performance. The data collected by Firebase is anonymized and not linked to your identity.

The only external network calls the app may make are:

• Aladhan API (aladhan.com) — receives your geographic coordinates to return prayer times. No account, name, or device identifier is included.
• Nominatim OpenStreetMap (nominatim.openstreetmap.org) — receives your coordinates to return a human-readable city name for display purposes only.
• EveryAyah API (everyayah.com) — receives a surah and verse number to stream the corresponding Quranic audio. No user data is sent.
• Google Firebase — receives anonymous app usage data, performance metrics, and crash logs to help us improve app stability.

None of these requests include device identifiers, account information, advertising IDs, or any other personal data. We do not operate any developer-owned server or database.

All user preferences, bookmarks, Tasbih counts, and notification settings are stored locally on your device using Android's secure storage mechanisms (SharedPreferences / Capacitor Preferences). This data is private to the application and not accessible to other apps.

Retention: App data is retained as long as the application is installed. You can clear all app data through Android's system settings (Settings → Apps → Satu Ramadhan → Clear Data).

Security: Satu Ramadhan does not maintain any developer-owned server. User data is never uploaded to our own servers. Outbound network requests go to public APIs (Aladhan, Nominatim, EveryAyah) for features, and to Google Firebase for anonymized diagnostics and analytics.

Satu Ramadhan is a general-audience application suitable for all ages. The app does not knowingly collect any personal information from children under 13 years of age, or under any higher applicable age threshold defined by local law.

Since we do not collect personal data from any user (regardless of age), this application is inherently safe for use by children under parental guidance. If you believe your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us immediately so we can address the concern.

Regardless of your location, you have the following rights with respect to your data:

• Right to Know: You can ask us what data (if any) we hold about you. As described above, we hold no server-side personal data.
• Right to Delete: You can delete all locally stored data by going to Android Settings → Apps → Satu Ramadhan → Clear Data, or by uninstalling the app.
• Right to Withdraw Consent: You can revoke any permission (location, notifications) at any time through Android's permission settings without uninstalling the app.
• Right to Contact: You can reach us at any time with questions or requests about privacy. We will respond within a reasonable timeframe.

If you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA) or the United Kingdom, you may also have rights under GDPR, including the right to data portability and the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. For Indonesian users, your rights are covered under the Personal Data Protection Law (UU PDP No. 27 Tahun 2022).

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically to reflect changes in the application's features or applicable legal requirements. When we make significant changes, we will update the "Effective Date" at the top of this page.

We encourage you to review this page occasionally. Your continued use of Satu Ramadhan after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy. If you disagree with any changes, you may stop using the app and delete it from your device.

This page is hosted at a permanent, public URL and does not require any login or special software to access, in accordance with Google Play Developer Policy requirements.
